The Freetourperu.com platform facilitates the booking of ‘free tours’ by free tour providers, whereby you are free to pay what you feel the tour experience was worth directly to the tour provider at the end of the tour experience, in person, on the day of the tour as booked. You are not required to pay any amount at the point of booking through the platform and there are no booking fees or charges applied.
Freetourperu.com remains responsible for all transaction amounts carried out on our site, including facilitating charge-backs and refunds of said amounts where required. We are not responsible for other amounts paid and processed outside of our site in relation to tour service booked, including but not limited to, payments you make directly to the tour provider or any costs incurred during the service for add-ons, local taxes, or other purchases.
A ‘confirmed booking’ registers your request to join the tour with the tour provider. The tour provider reserves the right to reject your booking or deny you service in the event of over-booking or if tour capacity has already been reached upon your arrival to the tour.
Where available, you can choose to make a ‘confirmed & guaranteed’ booking which requires credit card verification. This guarantees you a spot, held specifically for you by the tour provider, on the tour and protected in the event of over-booking or tour maximum capacity being reached. Confirmed & guaranteed bookings also entitle you to rate and review the tour on the platform, following the tour. If the provider has a stated cancellation and no-show policy, your card may be charged on behalf of the tour provider should you fail to arrive without having cancelled your booking or having cancelled too late as per their declared cancellation policy. Said cancellation policy is clearly defined on the relevant tour provider’s profile. If there is no cancellation policy stated, then no cancellation or no-show policy is applicable to your ‘confirmed & guaranteed’ booking.
Some free tour providers will only accept bookings verified by a valid credit card. This is because they have a stated cancellation and no-show policy whereby your card may be charged on behalf of the tour provider should you fail to arrive without having cancelled your booking or having cancelled too late as per their declared cancellation policy. Said cancellation policy is clearly defined on the relevant tour provider’s profile.
When making a ‘confirmed & guaranteed booking’, or booking with a provider who only accepts card verified bookings, card details can only be submitted with a clear and actionable opt-in indicating that you understand your card may potentially be charged the stated fee (up to 2USD per person) should you fail to arrive without having cancelled your booking in time, as per the policies stated during the booking process. In such instances, you would always be notified prior to any charge being made.

Booking Paid Tours
The Freetourperu.com platform also facilitates the booking of ‘paid tours’ services offered by tour providers.
Such bookings require you to pay an amount at the point of booking, this amount is referred to herein as our “Service fee” and is deducted from the total price of the tour as shown.
You can also opt for a flexible booking option where available at the point of booking which, for an additional fee, will allow you to transfer your service fee to another flexible booking made on the platform, or have it refunded within 6 months of cancellation date. The flexible booking additional fee is non-refundable.
Flexible booking, if selected, allows transfer or refund of service fee in accordance with the stated cancellation policy of the tour provider booked. Service fees on bookings, even flexible bookings, cancelled by you after the cancellation time period has elapsed are not refundable or transferrable.
The service fee is always refundable in instances of the tour provider failing to provide the service as booked. You can claim your refund of service fee by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via the link in your booking confirmation email.
You are responsible for paying to the tour provider the remaining balance (the remaining value of your booking after the service fee) on arrival to the tour.
Only cancellations made at least 2 days before your tour, via the cancellation link in your booking confirmation email will be deemed valid.
The service fee paid when booking must be paid using a valid Credit Card or Debit Card.
You confirm that all information submitted by you to Freetourperu.com, including Credit card / Debit card details, are complete and accurate and that you have been granted the required permissions and authorisations to use said card.
You will receive a booking confirmation via email shortly after completing the booking process (Check your spam box ), provided that all information submitted is correct and there is sufficient funds available to the credit / debit card used to complete the transaction.
General booking conditions
In making a booking you agree to the tour providers’ policies, including all relevant no-show and cancellation policies as displayed or set out in their profile. Accordingly, in the event of your failing to comply with said policies, including failure to arrive by your agreed time or failure to cancel your booking within the permitted time-frame as set out by the tour provider, you authorise Freetourperu.com to charge your credit / debit card and retain on behalf of the tour provider an amount not greater than the balance due for the service as booked after the service fee paid at the point of booking. Freetourperu.com may inform you of the charge in such an event, as a courtesy.
By making a booking, you permit FREETOURPERU.com to initiate payment, or a series of payments, on your behalf in relation to the products purchased which may require recurring payments, depending on the related policies opted into at the point of booking. Payment may be processed in real-time or at a later time as an off-session payment. You authorise FREETOURPERU.com to utilise your saved card details for these purposes and for future bookings you may make on the platform, for a simpler booking process.
Credit / Debit card details are entered on a secure page and transferred using SSL technology. Payment is processed by a secure & reputable payment portal.
It is your responsibility to notify the tour provider directly to make any amendments to your booking or to inform them of any special requirements / facilities that you or a member of your party may require.
The listing of tour providers on Freetourperu.com websites should not be considered as a specific recommendation by Freetourperu.com or that the tour provider will be suitable for the user’s purpose or of any particular quality.
Freetourperu.com may offer you the opportunity to review the tour provider post-service in relation to your tour experience and your opinion. The ranking and rating attributed to tour products on our sites are influenced by this feedback and your review and rating may be visible on our site(s).
