You will depart from the city of Huaraz around 5:00 AM (this will be confirmed the day before the tour day), embarking on an exhilarating adventure to Lagoon 69. This beautiful lake is nestled beneath majestic mountains and is part of Huascaran National Park. Along the way to the lake, you’ll traverse the stunning Llanganuco valley, where you’ll encounter other enchanting lakes in the area.
Your hiking journey begins at Cebollapampa, situated at 12,631 feet above sea level, where you’ll ascend on a zigzag trail leading you to Lagoon 69. This incredible body of water, with its brilliant blue hue, sits at an altitude of 15,255 feet.
Surrounded by the imposing snow-capped peaks of Chacraraju and Nevado Pisco, Lagoon 69 reflects their majestic silhouettes in its serene waters, creating a truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable landscape. Finally, you’ll return to the city of Huaraz around 6:30 PM, concluding this remarkable adventure.
